Bachelor of Cognitive Enterprise (Professional Practice)

The Bachelor of Cognitive Enterprise (Professional Practice) has been designed to meet industry needs of the future. Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours)

Speech pathologists study, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders, including difficulties with speech, language, fluency and voice. You will work with people who have difficulty communicating because of developmental delays, stroke, brain injuries, learning disability, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, dementia and hearing loss, as well as other difficulties that can affect speech and language. People who experience difficulties swallowing food and drink safely can also be helped by a speech pathologist.

Master of Speech Pathology

This degree will develop your knowledge and practical skills in linguistics, language and healthcare as well as treatment and management options through coursework, clinical practice and complex case studies. Throughout the degree, you will also undertake clinical practice placement gaining valuable and relevant workplace experience.

As a Speech Pathologist you may work as a clinician, educator, researcher, policy advisor, manager, advocate or consultants in a variety of industries including government and non-government organisations, education, health, welfare, policy development, community-based organisations and private practice.

Bachelor of Sustainable Food Systems

Food sustainability is the study of food security, health, safety, quality and affordability, influenced by climate change and the environment.

With the world population expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050*, Federation University is creating new ways to help solve the problems of developing a safe, healthy and nutritious food supply for people worldwide.

This unique degree was developed in collaboration with food industry partners to fulfill the need for food specialists in Australia. The first half of the degree embeds a Diploma of Food Science and Technology to develop your knowledge and core practical skills across food testing, quality and sustainability.

In the second half of the degree you will pursue an interest by selecting one of Food Processing or Sustainable Food Production, as well as undertake an industry placement providing valuable and relevant workplace experience.
