The School offers a wide range of programs including bachelor, graduate certificate, graduate diplomas, masters (research or coursework) and PhD programs across a variety of discipline areas. These areas include: biomedical science, environmental science, exercise and sport science, clinical exercise physiology, food and nutrition, health sciences, psychology, sport management, strength and conditioning, veterinary and wildlife.

Bachelor of International Sport Management

Federation University has partnered with the esteemed World Academy of Sport to give prospective students a one-of-a-kind pathway into this dynamic industry.

This program is available to study online from anywhere in the world and combines 21st century skills with practical industry experience. Exclusive access to case studies and interviews from world leaders in sport management places students at the forefront of the industry.

Graduates can expect to find dynamic roles spanning international and national sport federation, with positions including sports administration, business development, marketing and sponsorship management, media and public relations coordination, event coordination and sport consultancy.

Learn more about studying the

Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science

Become a sports scientist. Work in sports performance. Promote healthy living to communities. Help injured people through rehabilitation. With your degree at FedUni, your learning will be hands-on using our new Sport and Recreation Centre and placements in the industry. In addition to the core subjects, you'll also specialise in your choice of exercise rehabilitation, health or teaching. Not only will you learn how to plan, implement and evaluate programs for athletes, but also for the general population.

Your subjects include health studies, injury prevention and motor control. This program contains compulsory online courses. When you graduate, you can apply for registration with Exercise and Sport Science Australia and other relevant sports organisations. You may even join our other graduates working in Elite Sport in the NBA, NFL, AFL, NRL, Super Netball etc.

Master of Strength & Conditioning

The Master of Strength and Conditioning enables you to gain the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed to work as a strength and conditioning coach in a high performance setting. This program is designed to help graduates acquire the necessary accreditation required to work with athletes who strive for optimum sports performance. Through tutorials and practical sessions, you will learn how to design and coach evidence-based programs for a range of team and individual sport applications. You will learn to develop and monitor training programs to meet the demands of the athlete across a range of contexts.

This Masters program will equip you to conduct tests of determinant physical qualities such as strength, power, speed, agility and endurance. Other areas covered in the Master of Strength and Conditioning include recovery, nutrition, injury prevention and rehabilitation. In addition, you will gain an understanding of the research process and have the opportunity to conduct applied research in the field. You will also undertake practical placements in the sports industry to gain experience working with coaches and athletes.

Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology

This program is designed to extend and supplement the relevant knowledge of exercise science and sport science / human movement graduates. A thorough knowledge of health sciences is integrated with the practical ability to develop and manage exercise programs for the prevention, treatment and ongoing management of injuries, chronic disease and complex conditions. Clinical knowledge, skills and experience if further applied to the completion of a research thesis or project.

This is a postgraduate program, you are required to complete an undergraduate program in a related field prior to undertaking postgraduate study.
